Last weekend I did a camping trip with my friends where the theme was "Bring Every Vehicle". We brought my Prius, a RAV4, a Subaru Outback, 2 razor scooters, a stand-up paddleboard, a pair of off-road motorcycles, my boat, and an airplane! Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip:

Last night I built this crazy rack system to transport my boat on top of my car. Tonight I will find out if it works!

Remember everyone: ALWAYS REDUNDANTLY SECURE YOUR LOADS. You can never have enough ratchet straps. And check them as you drive! During one of my checks today, I discovered the temperature drop after sunset caused the containers to shrink a bit, loosening the straps. Never would’ve been able to anticipate that!
Had a bit of a revelation: I can 3D print my own woodworking jigs! This is amazing!!

Just picked up three 55gal water drums. On my way to get a fourth.
Note the arrangement of straps: using 3 straps, every barrel is redundantly secured. If any single strap fails, the barrels all stay on. Always safely secure your loads, it is a life-or-death matter for drivers behind you!

Today I got a CAT B35 with KaiOS. This phone and operating system are amazing. This is the future for the billions of people in the world still locked out of the smartphone market by the high price of entry, low durability, wastefulness, short battery life, complexity, unhackability, and general presumption of wealth endemic to the Android/Apple hardware ecosystems.
I'm so happy that people are taking my stupid wacky off-the-cuff written copy seriously enough to post it here ^_^
